The brief for 'Genius Loci' or 'Spirit of a place' was to select a location and produce a piece of work that captures its' specific atmosphere. I communicated the atmosphere of the London underground at rush hour using a variety of mediums. Firstly, I took a 15 second video which had minimal edits and diegetic sounds present. I then filmed and edited a social experiment, holding a 'first class' chair on the trains and witnessing the reactions from the general public. My second extension was in a poster format with the purpose to spread awareness of bad habits people admit to hating on the tube and how we could try and reduce them for more pleasant journeys.
