I proposed and produced a project that highlights and celebrates graphic design as a vehicle for the voice of political protest using the thematic area of Political Activism. In December 2018, a drone caused chaos at Gatwick Airport and took over the news and media for around 48 hours. During this time, the government 'slipped out' an £85 million cut to the Public Heath Sector which will cause enormous damage and effect every one of us. This project is in collaboration with the charity BASHH and their petition to reverse the cuts.
The output modes included social, informational and editorial design, digital and non-digital media communication channels. I used thermochromic ink, typography and lenticular animations; all of which seek the idea of hiding and revealing information.  This forms a cyclic evaluation of the original concept of the media being manipulated at the government's discretion.
