During the first term at university, we were asked to create our own four page newspaper that communicated a design related subject and included a written advertorial. I took care in the typography, layout, composition, hierarchy of information, image generation, editorial design and print production. I found this type of publication challenging when it came to using a conventional style of grid. I decided to focus my theme on the design of the London underground. I felt that it was important for it to be printed on newsprint to be truly authentic.
